Bixie is a box turtle girl who has always loved books and reading. When she was seven years old she had a favorite book which she read frequently. In fact, she decided that this book was probably the best book for girls that ever existed. 

It was called "Turtle Fairies" and was filled with amazing illustrations of turtle fairies and  various interesting stories about them. [Press Extra Button]

Nothing made Bixie happier than lying alone on her bed reading "Turtle Fairies" to herself. She loved looking at all the colorful pictures of the 12 turtle fairies and reading the descriptions of their activities and skills. Each month of the year had its own turtle fairy and each turtle fairy had her own flower.
